  • Use your ceiling fans. Take advantage and reduce strain on your HVAC system.
  • Change your air filter. Summer is one of the seasons that your air filter gets dirtiest the fastest. Your HVAC is running almost non-stop and so are airborne particles constantly getting trapped in the filter.
  • Clear debris from your air conditioner. If you had any storms or mowed the lawn, all types of debris to build up on your unit and restrict its airflow. Make sure to clear any visible debris away and consider cleaning the unit.
  • Have your ducts cleaned. Clean air ducts are the foundation for good indoor air quality. Over several years, air ducts can become contaminated with mold, fungi, and bacteria, as well as dust. Routine HVAC doesn't remove them. Clean air ducts are the foundation for good indoor air quality.
